The 60CMOS is the mid-transmittance lens in Pilla's third-generation CMX3 Max Orange family, sitting between the 30CMOS for medium light and the 80CMOS for ultra-low light conditions. Like its siblings, it benefits from Pilla's Zeiss Pigment Accelerator technology paired with the exclusive Copperflection lens coating and a robust 7-layer anti-reflective system.

This combination lifts orange target colour to a new level while reducing colour vibration in the orange part of the visual spectrum — the result is crisp, vibrantly defined orange targets with high contrast precision. Where the 30CMOS handles stronger light and the 80CMOS pushes into near-darkness, the 60CMOS is engineered for the low light conditions most shooters encounter in the late afternoon and early evening, or on heavily overcast days in open field, desert, and snow environments.
