Leica's Most Powerful Rangefinder Binoculars with Applied Ballistics

The Leica Geovid Max 10x42 are the most capable rangefinding binoculars Leica has ever made, and the new flagship of the Geovid range. They bring together Leica’s celebrated 10x42 optics, a brand-new Class 1 laser rangefind, onboard Applied Ballistics and Leica ProTrack navigation in a single unit. You can spot, range and work out your shot without reaching for anything else.

The glass will be familiar to anyone who knows the Geovid Pro: bright, colour-neutral and sharp to the edge, with the contrast to pick out a target in the last of the light. What’s new is the display. It’s a 640 x 480 microLED, which Leica describes as its brightest and most customisable yet. Through the Leica Ballistics app you choose exactly what appears in your field of view, so it stays clear from dark woodland to snow glare.

The new laser rangefinder reads up to 7,500m (8,200 yards) on reflective targets, 4,200m on trees and up to 2,650m on deer (around 2,900 yards). First, Best and Last modes make sure you’re ranging the animal and not the bracken in front of it.
